New 40-Unit Hotel Planned for Lillooet Area

New investment from the Seton Lake Band and Tsalalh Development Corporation (TDC) is leading to the construction of a 40-unit hotel in Seton Portage.  The new project will take advantage of an existing development site rather than take over unspoiled nature in one of the most beautiful parts of the province.

In addition to providing accommodation to visitors to the area, the hotel will provide rental housing to BC Hydro workers involved in large, long-term energy infrastructure projects in the area. The hotel is expected to be operational in early 2015.

The First Nation (Canada’s terminology for aboriginal or indigenous peoples) community of Seton Lake and TDC are also planning a full service RV park and are renovating four cabins along Seton Lake to support growing tourism needs in the Lillooet area
