EcoTactix Launches the Lillooet Mug Shot Campaign

July 18, 2016

LILLOOET, BC—July 19, 2016—Curtis Cook is passionate about Lillooet and wants the world to know it.  To show his support for the Lillooet area, Curtis Cook, President of the economic development consulting firm, EcoTactix, has launched a community promotion campaign called “Lillooet Mug Shot.”

“I love the area’s positive energy and community spirit and wanted to find a way to promote it through images to the rest of the world,” says Curtis Cook.  The Lillooet Mug Shot campaign is a visual showcase of people, businesses and the natural beauty of the region.

EcoTactix operates a number of community marketing and promotion sites including:  www.BestPlaceinCanada.com and www.BestPlaceinBC.com.  “Communities pay to market themselves on EcoTactix’ websites but I’m happy to create a free profile and free promotion through my websites for my hometown, Lillooet.  More people need to know what this area offers to families, entrepreneurs, investors, retirees, and professionals.  There is an abundance of natural beauty and opportunity here,” adds Cook.  These websites receive high levels of international and Canada-wide traffic.

To participate in the Lillooet Mug Shot campaign send a photo of you with the orange “Love Lillooet—Guaranteed Rugged” mugs in your favourite setting in the Lillooet and surrounding areas.  The mugs are available from local retailers.  Visit www.BestPlaceinCanada.com and click on “Lillooet Mug Shot Campaign” to submit your photo.

Curtis Cook started EcoTactix almost two decades ago to provide economic development solutions to communities and First Nations across Canada.  He has worked with dozens of towns and cities from the far eastern tip of Prince Edward Island to the far western tip of Vancouver Island, and many places in between, along with Fortune 500 companies, provincial, federal, and international government agencies.  Some of his BC clients include:  Lillooet, Quesnel, District of Kent, Village of Hazelton, Seabird Island Band, Nuu-chah-nulth First Nations of Clayoquot Sound, and many others.  A few of his corporate and government clients include:  the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Industry Canada, the United States Department of Commerce, the Italian Trade Commission, and Best Buy.
